LABC offer a qualification pathway that’s accessible to all LABC members. This means you’ll need to be employed as an apprentice or surveyor by a local authority to access them.
Visit the LABC website to find out more about:
Qualifications – includes part time diplomas in Building Control surveying and an Apprenticeship Degree.
Building control Apprenticeships – will be available through local authorities from early 2019 and will be at the beginning of a path that can lead to a BSc (Hons) degree in Building Control.
CPD (Continuous Professional Development) courses – LABC offer a range of courses which aim to maintain essential professional knowledge and skills through a structured approach to learning. Some of these are open to everyone and others only to LABC members. If you’re an employee of a local authority, your course will be paid for by them (with the approval of your manager.)
