Our Building Control team plays a vital role in protecting the public, supporting development, and ensuring compliance with the highest standards of building safety.
As Building Control Manager, you’ll lead a team that deals with a variety of work throughout the borough. This is a technical leadership role where you’ll provide technical expertise, mentor junior staff, and deputise for the Service Director for Planning & Building Control.
You’ll also have the opportunity to influence service delivery and represent the council in enforcement and legal proceedings.
