The Role:
To efficiently and effectively undertake the assessment of applications for Building Regulation consent within the Partnership Area together with associated building inspections with due regard to the Partnerships liability.
This is a hybrid role but most time will be spent on-site 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
· Direct responsibility to assess Regularisation Applications, Building Notice and Full Plans Applications
· Carry out relevant inspections of work on site to ensure compliance with the current Building Act and Building Regulations and other relevant allied Statutory Legislation under minimal supervision
· Direct responsibility for plan examination of major projects and site inspection of complex development schemes within the partnership area under minimal supervision and own imitative
· Undertake Fire Safety Assessments of buildings and prepare reports as necessary
· Carry out complex building surveys
· Degree or equivalent qualification along with Corporate Membership of an appropriate professional body
· Expert knowledge of Building Regulations with the Building Safety Regulator as a Class 2A RBI or above
· Expert knowledge of all relevant legislation, building developments
· Knowledge of building construction, modern techniques and technical project management skills including high rises
