You will lead a busy team of building inspectors, managing, mentoring and developing the team. You will also maintain a small caseload of the most complex and high profile projects, including the inspection of safety measures at major public events. You will be a member of a related professional institute e.g. the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Chartered Institute of Builders, Chartered Institute of Builders, Chartered Association of Building Engineers with at least five years post qualification experience.
You will hold the relationship between the Council and developer, in respect of major development proposals, providing an efficient and effective building control service and representing the Service on a range of major projects.
